Overlay leaded glass

Real lead tape with an adhesive backing is bonded to both sides of a single sheet of tempered glass. No solder joints.

Benefits: except to the expert, looks just like traditional leaded glass but is stronger and less expensive.

Traditional leaded glass

Each piece of glass is cut separately and inserted into "H" shaped lead, zinc or brass came which is then soldered.

Benefits: traditional look, choice of large variety of sparking colored and textured glass.
